As a Gentleman Would Say centers around the relationship between a
young boy and his single mother.
Ben is in a constant search to grow into the man that he believes he
should be, but his precociousness and zealousness are tempered by his
age and the absence of a real role model in his life.
Sarah has learned to tune out life outside of the apartment. But her
love for Ben is real and the bond between mother and son is
undeniable.
As a Gentleman Would Say traces a Saturday in the life of the duo as
they go about their individual routines. Both in search of the piece
of mind that comes with being comfortable in one's own skin, but both uncertain what to look for or where to find it.
